New 440 Source 4.500" Bore RB Block

Yep, depends on what "real" is in the eye of the beholder. I know I'll be pushing the limits of a factory 400 block pretty soon and it isn't "real" to a lot of drag racers.
I think you’re underestimating your block. I’ve seen a 400 based 451 make more than double what you’ll be making with a big single turbo. That being said, on freshen ups I’d look for signs of cap walk.

I hope so, I'm doing something about cap walk here in the next day or 2.

The girdle will take care of the cap walk, but the issue with the OEM blocks is they eventually start cracking from the mains up to the cam tunnel.

I seriously doubt this will ever be with the 440 Source block as thick as it's being made, and the higher quality gray iron they are using.

Buddy bought a set of steel billet caps recommended by QMP Racing. Stout !
I'm staking or pinning 4 of 5 factory caps between the caps and registers.
I was going to do steel but I have faith in the factory caps.

Or the dough to even build the engine.
Don't forget the 1%, because they're around. lol
