Need some help. I've purchased a CompCam hydraulic (High Energy) cam and lifter package for my 67 Dart 273 (252/252 duration, .425 lift). My question is: With the engine originally having solid lifters I'm thinking I need to replace the adjustable rocker arm assembly as well. Can I use the non adjustable assembly from a 318? How about pushrods? The original pushrods are solid, ball & socket. Do I need to swap these? Info appreciated.

Just get the correct pushrods for your engine Use your rocker arms and get the most from that cam. done it many times as have others one this site They are available or post a wanted ad

If going to the non adjustable from a 318, use the 318 push rods and shafts too. If you are interested in selling the adjustable rockers I'd be interested. Send me a private message and we can talk.

As long as they’re in good condition, adjustable rockers are fine. Just set your pushrod length to get the desired pushrod preload (usually.040-.060) with the adjusters showing “about” one thread (or one turn from flush) out of the rocker. Use some checking pushrods to determine what length you need.
