hey just scored new never used factory hush thrush mufflers, the old school blue with woody on them..... ya guys remember these?
these will be the street muffs... and exhaust cut outs at headers for fun....stay tuned....he he he

I had a set of those on a 71 comet GT when I was 16. 302 with headers with no pipes. I would leave it running when I went into the local mom and pop parts store. Every window in the store front would be vibrating. Finally the guy that owned the store asked if I would kill the car before I come in.

I remember those [never used them too quiet] I used the round ones [same kind of paint] I do remember [both types of] them rusting out in a short time however.

Well wont rust out, i live in arizona... As for blowing out not driven daily... This is a trut 70's / early 80's hot rod with the stink bug stance when done...just went for the nostalga....
