as far as radio goes-

The new Bush is pretty good.

...and Foo Fighters.

I'm not as big of an indie/non AOR guy as I used to be.
(Too lazy and more difficult to find stuff I like)

Saw Mudvayne- they kind of sucked live, WAY too screamy.
Too bad, I like their produced sound.

Saw BLS, they kind of sucked too. Couldn't understand the vocals and the lead guitar was amatureish (!??!), not what I expected from Mr. Wylde.

I do like Saliva, and Red Light King.

Saw SOAD a couple of years ago, and they kicked ***!!

Saw Tool, and they were good, but didn't play ANY of their radio songs :(
I had heard they like to do that, but I was kinda pissed anyway.
Come on, guys, not one???

Trans Siberian Orchestra has some kick *** NON-Christmas stuff!
I saw them in 1987 when they were Savatage.

Classic is always good. I'll toss some stuff in too, some newer, some older, Maybe even some stuff here that some of you haven't heard.

Not all of it's exactly the "Evil" you were looking for, so it's not an Evil rock thread without the man himself (Ronnie James Dio)..

BTW, anybody else think Iommi looks like the prince of darkness (no, not ozzy :p ) at 1:41 - 1:57? The grandfather of all that is hard rock and heavy metal, Tony Iommi. He's the influence for my choice to tune my stratocaster to Drop C (due to nerve damage in both of my hands)

...how could I forget Avenged Sevenfold.

Modern with a classic feel that seems to switch between sometimes like a lightswitch.

One of my absolute favorite "new" bands.

Really can't believe how much airplay these guys get.

I went o Ozzfest two or three years ago, and it was the 1969 throwback Black Sabbath show.

All original members (including Iomi, platic fingertips and all), in original stage clothes, and nothing but classic Sabbath tunes. VERY COOL!!! I was in row 13 and could tell if they shaved or not !

..hoever, Judas Priest stole the show... but this year they weren't on their game.
JP/BLS/Thin Lizzy
Seen Priest a dozen or more times since 82, and NEVER until this time heard them get a bad mix, or not give 120%
I guess they're 60+...KK Downing replacement wasn't the problem, either. except maybe for chemistry a bit.

Believe it or not- Thin Lizzy was the best sound and best performance at that show.
was kind late and only got the last three songs, still pissed about that.

I also struggle to find GOOD music. I am 25 but have always had a taste for music from the 60's-70's , some 80's hair band stuff. most of the 90's was kind of blah. but recently there has been a run of good tunes coming. They are few and far between but some good music is better than no good music HAHA
