Hey all, I'm new to the site, but I have been lurking for quite a while. I'm currently in Ft Polk Louisiana. I have a 1972 Dodge Dart project that I've had for about 3 years that hasnt gone very far because I've been overseas. I picked it up for 800 bucks, with the engine half pulled. It's got a /6, 904, and its pretty solid for the price, floor pans, quarter patches, and that should solve all the rust problems. I have a Clifford intake, with an edlebrock carb, and clifford headers on the engine right now, just bolted on, never been ran with the setup. Considering selling the carb intake and headers so if your interested, just shoot me a PM with an offer, and I'll let you know when I have it available.
This is a great site and I'm ready to learn even more.
Thanks

these are all from the day i brought it home. and the one of the engine is how it sits now, I'll be putting the original intake carb and exhaust back on.

Welcome to FABO! Looks like a nice project car you've got there.

Well now, there's a blast from the past! I did both Basic and AIT at Ft. Polk back before your '72 Dart was even a pile of parts heading for the assembly line.
Being from SoCal, one of the funniest things I heard was when the Drill Instructors said, "Welcome to the mountains of Louisiana". Really? Mountains?
Anyway, a warm SoCal welcome to FABO! You're going to have fun here. What's the build plan for your Dart? All stock resto or maybe a little mod here and there?

Welcome. Good looking project. Lots of good advice on this site. Many great people willing to help out. Look forward to seeing your progress.

Thanks for the welcome everybody. ocdart, i'd like to keep it pretty original, with a few mods possibly. Planning on doing a black interior, and havent decided on a paint color. We'll see when that time comes.

Hello/! Having owned a 72 /6 model before,understand leaving it stock.Mine got good gas mileage,never stranded me.Great car.
