hey guys im new here. recently i bought a 64 valiant that was restored in 2006. my plans are to put a cage in it, and stuff a 512 into the tiny engine bay. any tips or suggestions on putting this motor into the car please let me know! was wondering if anyone has had luck with the schumacher motor mounts (http://www.engine-swaps.com/Pages/InstructionPages/A63BRB.html) or if i should stick with a motor plate? thanks

Gonna need custom made headers. Also gonna have to clearance the trans tunnel to fit the 727. The rest is pretty straight forward and bolt In.

Hope you plan on bigger t-bars and disc brakes if it doesn't already have them.

It already has front disc brakes. Thanks for the suggestion of bigger t bars but i may go with coil springs in the front, any thoughts or suggestions on that route?

Call rms they offer a coil over kit to use your stock suspension. They also sell a complete coil over suspension system if you wanted to go that route.

sorry to bring back an old thread. but since my first post, I've gotten the tranny and motor in the car and wondering what the best option is for a wiring harness? i don't have the original one that came with the car. what should i buy? 64 a body, 440 electronic ignition, 727

sorry i didn't specify but it does have the under dash wiring and front to rear wiring just not the engine bay harness. firewall to headlights. i will be running an electric fan. is there any way to buy everything as a bundle? distributor, ign. box, coil, regulator, wiring, etc...? thanks !!
