Hey all, Carl here. The welcome email suggested I introduce myself, so here goes. I've been a MOPAR fan since high school motoring around in my 68 Dart with a 318 that seemed to run forever no matter how much my 16-20 year old self abused it. I'm now recently retired and looking to get back into wrenching more. I'm interested in finding and restoring a 60-66 Valiant or Dart. Until I find the right project car, I'll mostly be lurking and learning, and I figured this is the best place for that. Cheers.

Carl, you can still stop while you're ahead! Just don't buy the first project! It's not just wrenching, it's an addiction that's turned into a life long addiction for many of us. Just be warned going in, and welcome to the insanity that is A-Bodies Only.

Welcome to FABO!!

Keeps your eyes open for your Mopar, you'll find "the one".
It took me a year and a half to find my silver Barracuda.

Welcome ! My brother lived in Butte for about 10 yrs in the 90s.
Do you remember a green 1970 Hemi Charger in Anaconda ?

I moved here in 2011. But if it's still around, I'll keep an eye out for it.
Original owner car . I had a chance to buy it in 1999 but assumed it would be too much .A guy I knew (Jerry Blake) told me he was thinking of selling then . Jerry ended up buying it and I got sick when he told me he paid 16,700.00 for it . Got even sicker when I saw it and he told me it turned 30k miles on the way home ! Urghh… I could have paid cash at that price ! Jerry knew the car his whole life and was the CPD rep then . He went on to run all of Mopar Performance. He had just retired when I met him in 99. Lived up in Red Lodge (?) in an incredible house on a section of land . Had pictures of him and Carol Shelby etc… in his trophy room .

Welcome from Jersey!
Been wrenching for 40 years or so. 2 more years till I retire from teaching high school Auto Service and I will be wrenching a lot more at home.
Enjoy retirement!
