Got my hood back from the body shop and installed. Stock flat hood from a donor car with a bolt on glass SS scoop. Made the air box, turned out nice and she breathes much easier now :burnout: Had the hood decals made at a local sign shop, copied the 69 A12 Roadrunner decal.

sweet ride, very nice! I like the scoop, looks ready for business!

Damn that's a beautiful car! The scoop and call outs just set it off perfectly.

Nice.Rarely see a Hemi hood scoop anymore, much less painted. Nice move.

Very nice.... I have been looking for a bolt on hemi scoop for my car with no luck

Awesome lookin Dart!! Also like how its painted car color!

This will be done to my car! Very nice. What scoop did you use?!?

That scoop is going to catch a ton of air. Your picture shows only two stanchions, which may not be enough to stop that thing from flapping like a duck's bill at 60 mph. Keep an eye on it.

It looks old school mean! Really nice. Do you have any pictures of the cut out underneath the hood? I.e. with the hood up.

Thx.

Thanks for all the compliments....

I got the scoop from http://www.sledcityevents.com/fiberglass/ The quality is good but it took forever to get it and getting any updates was like pulling teeth. I have bought a hood from these guys in the past http://www.aarqualityfiberglass.com/ and it was nice, they also make the Hemi scoop. They have sold since so not sure of the quality currently.

It's actually very solid, thick glass with aluminum sheets bonded to the bottom for reinforcement. Had it up to 80 and it doesn't move, but will def keep an eye on it :icon_smi:

I've seen the AAR stuff for years and their quality has always been rated high. Sled City sounds like a pain. I'll stick with the proven vendor.
