Where are you in the build? K frame? rear? I see you have a set of aluminum slots, small bolt pattern? What brakes do you have now?
Right now I’ve got the engine(318) and transmission out (A904-1). As I have never fully looked into what has been done to this car.

With that being said. It’s pretty much a mystery engine to me, so it’s actually really fun. As for what I know.

Engine:
- 4006730-318-7
- 3-11-76or78
- Bores read 3.94 so .030 over
- Piston are stock size
Eddy Intake:
-LD340
Heads:
- AAWJ 360, big “J” on both, so J heads
- 3418915F on both
- 0983 date stamp on one of them.
- 1.88” & 1.60”
- Valves as I can see have been shave on the tops of the stems
Crank:
- 3751841(casted on), 8843 M010 R010 (stamped on)
- All connecting rods seem to have been over heated at some point where the pins meet. However the cylinder #2 connecting rod is full discolored

AS OF RIGHT NOW THIS IS ALL I CAN TELL YA. I haven’t ripped into this any further than that.

Welcome to the group, a nice bunch here. As for the rod small ends being heated it means the shop used a rod heater to install the wrist pin's with the new pistons. The discolor of that #2 rod big end looks like it spun the bearing? seen a lot of that over the years.
