Hey my name is Andy I own a 1973 lime green duster with a 340. I live in north Ga. Over the past week the gas gauge and temp gauge has stopped working. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Welcome to the Madness !! Check grounds and the Instrument VR.

Not sure if the 73's have them, but it is an instrument cluster voltage regulator. If it has one, you will find it plugged into the printed circuit panel on the rear. Quite small. maybe 1/2 X 1 inch. I have all older A,B and E Bodies and they all have it.

Welcome to FABO from Woodstock!! Nice looking Duster!

I'm not sure on the 73 models, but it sounds like a Voltage regulator problem. Search the threads and post in the Electrical thread. Someone should be able to give you some insight.

73 Darts had them, and they shared the same cluster with the Dusters.
There are lots of tutorials on this around the internet.
You can pay 40-50 bucks for an OEM, or make an electronic regulator for those gauges from Radio Shack parts for a couple of bucks.
