new motor

i have gotten a a 360 from a family friend for $300 it had a stock bottom end rebuild and a new cam put in. the block was cast 8/2/74 so the motor just turned 35!! he also threw in a 4bbl weiand intake for free, a car oil pan, and the blue powder coated valve covers. pretty good deal for a kid in high school with a part time job.

Hey that 360 looks exactly like mine.Mine has .030 over pistons(the tops of pistons look the same as mine)I just added 340 X heads and an Rpm Air-gap intake.I got it running on Thursday but have yet to testdrive.I will be this week.

good luck with your motor prettyblu mines only a stock bottom end and doesnt look bored. and it still has the stock dish pistons. but now that i have the motor i will clean up the ports and everything. and the other good thing is that my duster may be moving out and a new 904 with a low gear set and a manual valve body moving in as its place in a trade.and this guy is the brother of the guy i got the motor from.
