Ive run ET streets and barely 18 type tires and am going for the drag radial this next time as when you get into a long curve at 60+ mph you can feel the rim pushing out of the tire a bit too much for comfort (side deflection). That, coupled with some pizza cutters up front that will potato chip with the right circumstances (or so it feels), a drag radial may get a little greasy on launch but you just have to not dump the clutch so hard. my 0.03...
 
I was realy hoping the radials would hook on the street. If they totally suck I'm down to try bias ply. The car is a dedicated "street race" car so it won't see much HWY driving.
