So I have been hearing people say the new formula of aircraft stripper is not good.
One thing is for sure, the price has gone up with the new formula but you can get it at oreileys and all the big box stores now.
I was reluctant to try it with people saying it's no good.
With few other options I did try it and I really think I like the new stuff better.
It does not apply like the old stuff, takes a bit longer to set in but when it does finally set in.... the paint gets really soft and a razor blade scrape takes the paint off. The paint gets so soft, a power washer can blast the paint clean off.
The stuff is very fume heavy so a fool uses this stuff without a respirator.
All in all, I'm giving a good review. I'm going to strip all day with this stuff.
The after pic shows it starting to really work but 35 minutes after application at 90 degrees. I ran out of daylight and time but I could have easily scrapped the all paint off with a razor blade or scraper.
