When my wife and I retired a few years ago, we decided that should we ever come across the car we special ordered from the factory in 1969, our first ever new car, that we should buy it. Just over a year ago, while killing time, and not really expecting to find anything, I was on the MoreMuscleCars.com website, and a walk-around video of this car came up. I reached over and tapped my wife, saying, "Look at this." The first words out of her mouth were, "That's our car!" It isn't "that car" but is identical in all respects except that the one we ordered back in '69 ad the 383, and this is a 340. Everything else is the same. So we made some phone calls and went to look at it, all of the way up in Macomb, MI. We found no major problems, and so, it is now in our garage. We have been showing it, more or less at local shows, and winning some trophies, but knowing there were some little items we needed to clean up, or replace. We got a better feel for what those items were at the all MOPAR show in Lebanon, TN a couple of weeks ago. Still, we did come third in the 1960-69 A-body Original classification. This photo is from that show in Lebanon.
