Well, to swap a 360 to a 340, you just need to address the converter weight balance issue. Ether replace the external balanced converter (360) with an internal balanced converter (all the rest of the small blocks.) OR use a B&M flexplate designed for such things. Choice 2 would be cheaper.
On the inside, the pistons, rings, crank bearings, crank, would not swap over.
The balanced would but be out of wack since it is externally balanced.
