I heard about this a couple of months ago. To remove paint from hinges and knobs when painting inside the house, put them in an OLD pan and just boil them for about 25 - 30 minutes. I just set the kitchen timer when the water is at a rolling boil and take it with me The paint comes off in large pieces and the rest comes off with my fingernail . My house is 90 years old. The hinges, lock plates, and window knobs are all brass and/or brass plated. They are shining up pretty well. It sets off the white of the windows and door nicely.
What ever holidays or special events you all have coming up, hope you can spend them with family/friends. Be safe and have fun.

You can believe I will have a MAJOR celebration on Dec.29. It will be one year since my Lung Transplant!!
