The dilemma is mini-tub or not? I really don't want to modify on of 4000 Dart GTS's but one of the many previous owners has already moved the springs inboard.
 

man it sounds great! Gotta love a 340 mopar. As for the cutting, I was in a similar situation with my duster. It was a early build 70' car originally B7 blue. I didnt want ot start cuttin on it & ruin it but it wasnt #'s matching & needed alot of rust repair so I thought, what the hell. I made it the way I wanted it & im happy. Better cut than sitting out in a feild rotting away!
 
I leaning toward the mini-tub. I'm a long way from that at this point. Mine, like yours, is a real GTS but not a #'s matching 340 albeit a correct 1969 block. I'd like to run in the twelves. I've thrown around the idea of a stock restoration as well but a none #'s car, I may as well have fun with it. I'm still looking for a 391:1 posi and am pulling the motor to strip and paint the engine bay soon. Who ever painted it did a brutal job.
