Just heard that a new WA state law allows bikers who get stuck at red lights because the (faulty) trigger does not detect their bike, can now wait through a complete light cycle, then SAFELY treat the red as a "4 way stop" type situation, IE go when safe

This is how stupid some cops are. I once asked an ID state cop "what to do" and HE suggested a "U turn." REALLY? So there's no LEGAL way for me to get through the intersection, but YOU want me to make an illegal U turn?

Great now Harleys can have loud pipes, and not have to stop at red light's what next Haha, just kidding, actually we have a bunch of intersections up here that stay red forever even when your in a car!

Extremely frustrating to be sitting at a light on a bike and have it not cycle. Used to have some sort of contraption that I purchased on the bottom of my one sport bike...it did help somewhat....

We have a light here in town that is "difficult"...

It is a 4 way stop. Two way traffic one way, a main road and dead end on the other way. Sometimes the light is red for the two way and only turns green for the dead end and not the main road opposite. If only one car is in the left turn lane, it can stay red FOREVER in the main direction and keeps giving the dead end a green.

I once "tested" it at 2:30 AM and waited 45 minutes and the light did not change green for me. I've reported this three times to the local police, and I still see it happening once in a while. It doesn't do it all the time, but sometimes does it....
