NHL 2024-25

Really? One of the best finals in a long time..up 3-0 to go to 7th game...decision by 1 goal....not my 2 favorites but it was a great final.
I posted that when I thought the final round was going to be Florida and Dallas, as I can’t stand either one of ‘em.

Guess I wasn’t paying close enough attention, either to the thread, or the brackets.

Go Oilers!

Ahhh K, I think Deboring coached his last game in big D after his comment. Otter just signed a big contract with them. I'll miss the jugs behind D bench lol.

Yeah, he threw Otter under the bus pretty good there, and comments like that can’t help the team in any way, shape, or form. We’ll see…..

And like you, I too miss seeing the, uh….“talented” young lady in the first row behind the bench!
:thumbsup:

Skinner got better as the game went on, good thing he did or it wouldn't have been close.
I thought the Oilers should have won the goaltender interference challenge, at least from the views that I saw.

Once again the league refuses to protect goaltenders. One of the dirtiest players in the league 'accidentally' fell on Skinner and got away with it. I hope the refs remain consistent if it happens at the other end. If you are going to let things go then let them go. I'm sure Kane is waiting for his chance to have a go at Bennett. I hope it happens.

The longer the game went into OT the more it favoured the Oil. FLA is only really rolling 3 forward lines (~8 min for 4th line) compared to over 13 min for Oil 4th line.

Accidentally fell??? the goalie's own defensemen knocked him into him..and I'm sure if it were the other way around Edmonton fans would have no problem with it..GO PANTHERS :usflag: :usflag: :usflag: :usflag:

Funny how sooooo many power forwards battle in front of the net without going down, but Bennett/Bambi goes down like a ***** on payday. Replays are all over Boobtube, falling into Skinner was on purpose. No trip/slewfoot involved.
GO OILERS!! :canada: :canada: :canada: 1 down 3 more to go. Skinner has gotta be better.

I don't think the Oilers had a great game by their standards but matched Florida physically and got some goals and timely saves. It should be a great game tonight and the city is pumped.

It’s quite something to see the city rally around the team! Magical.

Ya baby! One of my favorite hockey gifs, Kane one-punching Matt(dbag)Cooke.
GO OILERS! :canada: :thumbsup::canada:
