He is full of it ain’t he?!?!?!?!
I’m actually bringing an ’80 Diplomat home to my driveway today. The “informed” seller advertised it as a “Classic”. I want the driveline. I’ll scrap the rest. Another “Classic” gone forever. So sad.
They suck.....in my opinion.....and those along with the newer Camaro's and Mustangs have HORRIBLE peripheral vision when in them and I think are dangerous and I don't like it at all being in them.Dan the man, why not just buy a newer Challenger R/T ? Or V6 for that matter. You'll have all your creature comforts, and you can get a nice 5 -6 year old R/T for around your price.
It's obvious that you guys don't have a clue. I agreed that the duster is a awesome car, even if it did have a/c it's still 8k over my budget. If I was to find a car that was like 22k and it didn't have a/c doesn't mean that I wouldn't pass it up. I have thought about having a company that does car inspections to look over a car if it's out of state. I enquired twice about a '67 dart that's supposed to be for sale and still haven't heard anything from the ownerMore excuses than a pregnant nun…
I understand that completely, I'm not arguing that. But being on a fixed income I don't have disposable income, this is why I'm trying to stay within my budget. That 8K may be the difference between a great car and an awesome car. Prices are going up every day. Kim
It wasn't that long ago A-bodies were exempt from the crazy price escalations that B&E bodies have and are experiencing. But I think the days of innocence may be coming to an end? I've always preached that A-bodies are easily the best bang for the buck Mopar ownership. Especially to those looking to enter the Mopar collector enthusiasm for first time.I understand that completely, I'm not arguing that. I have looked at some carsIf he truely wanted a car he would of at least went and looked at a couple or splurged for an inspection with it being farther away then he wants to drive. But then again there would be shipping or he could drive it home. I would find some how to make a deal. Kim
I had thought u posted 30 as the budget. But it is 22 or 24? KimI understand that completely, I'm not arguing that. But being on a fixed income I don't have disposable income, this is why I'm trying to stay within my budget.
I would love to have that duster. If it was a a/c would be a plus.It wasn't that long ago A-bodies were exempt from the crazy price escalations that B&E bodies have and are experiencing. I think that cat is out of the bag?
I'll just say this, all of us don't have the knowledge at some point in our lives & it never hurts to learn something new. Hell I wish I could buy a car that's done, then I could just do my thing to it.That's awesome. I have no problem with doing engine work, brakes etc. I don't have the knowledge or tools to do any body work, this is why I want /need a clean rust free car. A car not having a/c will not make it a deal breaker. If that duster would've had a/c I'd be seriously looking into it.
Then make it happen? Every indication suggests it's not only a fun ride, but a decent investment.I would love to have that duster. If it was a a/c would be a plus.
I wish that I had the skills and tools to do most of the work myself.I'll just say this, all of us don't have the knowledge at some point in our lives & it never hurts to learn something new. Hell I wish I could buy a car that's done, then I could just do my thing to it.
Good luck
I'm sure that it's a fun ride and a great investment. A guy in foristell said that he has a 1967 dart for sale, I asked him what he wants for it and no reply. Then make it happen? Every indication suggests it's not only a fun ride, but a decent investment.
I thought about going to 30k but I have to consider sales tax as well, bummer. I'd like to get a car for 25k but I don't know if that's possible.I had thought u posted 30 as the budget. But it is 22 or 24? Kim
If I had your money I'd probably have one already but I have other responsibilities.More excuses than a pregnant nun…

You sure are quick to find faultHe is full of it ain’t he?!?!?!?!
It's always been against me. I've thought about giving up but I made it one of my bucket listI'm out. Good luck, you'll probably never get a car as the market seems to be against you.
Well, welcome to the jungle. Good hunting. My only recommendation is try not to get hung up on finding the "Ultimate deal" Those typically take years. And is usually stumbled upon. You can always sell your today's car if such a car comes around in your travels.I'm sure that it's a fun ride and a great investment.
