Hey guys having a cranking issue with my duster .. Car will not crank from the key I have jump from relay... Car is a 4 speed and I grounded the NSS and still no go from the inside .. What would be the next thing to check ?? It's msd dizzy 6al box in a 74 duster .. 360 thanks

If you can it jump at the relay and it starts you may have a bad ignition switch. Or a short in the wires coming from the switch.

I had this exact same problem and found it was the ammeter died from old age.
I realized this only after I replaced a bunch of wiring.

1....Look under the hood for a box the size of a horn relay with a reset button. This is part of the seatbelt interlock. Find the two "yellowish" wires, cut them out of the connector and hook them permanently together.

2...If that does not work, find out if you actually have crank power coming from the key and getting to the start relay. Probe the two "push on" connectors. One should be ground, so make sure it IS. The yellow one should have start power when twisting the key

3....If you have that above and it still won't crank, replace the start relay

Thanks guys .. Plugged in a spare column I had and fired right up . So swapped the ignition switch and it's all go now
