I found a interesting video about the future of camshafts. Could you imagine the power potential? OMG! 20,000 rpm capable? Want to change your idle from smooth to lopey with just a few taps on the keys of a laptop?

I thought this was a unique idea to say the least!

WOW!! now that is technology at its best as far as I've ever seen for a power curve of ultimate efficiency . soon we will be running non combustion compression motors that take no fuel. If the oil companies don't stop it.
 
Wow's right. Can't wait for that to hit production stage. 30% less fuel, 30% more horsepower, 30% more torque and the possibility of duplicating a turbo?. Dang, it's a wet dream. Where do I sign up.
 
This has been a pipe dream for many years. If it comes to pass, this will make every car a potential monster.
 
That SAAB in the video has been running strong for over two years. Could be closer than we think.
