i have a 360 that i just put a set of the indy cylinder heads cast iron heads on and 1.6 adj. rockers and msd pro billet distributor. when we prime the motor with drill we get oil to the rockers but when we start the car they are bone dry. has high volume oil pump. oil pressure is 50psi with drill and during engine running. motor ran a whole season last year with out the problems.
I would really appreciate some help please.
Thanks, Adam

oil comes up thru the camshaft....number 2 and 4 bearing on the camshaft supply the heads oil...

have the cam bearing changed???

do you have the shafts on correctly???
oil hole facing down and towards the exhaust...

remove the rocker shafts and spin motor...oil should come up thru the head on the rocker pedestal...

Something doesn't make any sense. If you get oil with a drill then you'll get oil when the motor is running. Only thing that would prevent that is if the cam bearing rotated when the motor fired up.

Take the rocker shafts off and spin the oil pump by hand to see if you have oil pressure at the shafts. You have a problem somewhere if the rocker shafts are dry, just a simple process of elimination to find it.
