Guys,

What causes the teeth of the ring gear/TC to get chewed off??

Is it just an old starter motor combined with an old TC??

could be a mis-aligned starter......

well if the starter wasn't seated all the way......the nose of the starter goes is a indentation on the bell housing......if there is crap in there it could cause a mis-alignment.....not bolted down tight.....number of things. Mopars don't require shims like the "Chebbies" but they can have alignment issues.

Ah right I get ya.

Well the bolts on the old starter had worked their way out a bit and the surface was VERY dirty.
Just want to make sure I get as much info as possible before I install the new TC etc. Got a new Starter to go with it.
