A contact of mine wanted me to check on the car , an old man bought it from yukon and had it back to Montréal 25 years ago , the car didnt run in the last 10 years, but had a new 904 , new windshield, some leaf springs job bla bla , 1968 fury 3 , fast top model , 318 230hp v8 , 2 door...hes asking 2k But will let it go for 1500$ , heard that theres no parts for the body , is it worth it ? The price is very cheap if you ask me , but from driving a duster to a 68 fury ? Must be pretty different ! * interior looks nice, sorry for the snow ( not the best pics )

Yeah that would be the good year 318.

9.2:1 cr flat top pistons, .040 ths down in the hole. With full floating rods. 230 hp, with open chamber heads.

Cast iron water pump that exists on the driver's side.

Looks like a good buy at $1500 for the Fury C Body.

Can't buy much for $1500 these days. Worth that in parts alone.
You gonna make a driver out of it ?

That's a beautiful car and imo 1500 is cheap if I came upon one I would have that on a trailer heading home

Buy it and clean it up and get it running. Sell it later if you don’t like it.

That car looks too good to part it out. The derby guys do enuf damage already.

there is a C body only site and there are plenty of part for them, just need to get with the right group.

Not a bad price for a complete car, in that good of shape, that would probably run without much effort. Clean it up, make it mechanically sound and then drive the wheels off of it!

 :steering:

Those are nice cars. I always liked them. Back when my Grandfather bought a new car every year he had one. He always said that was one he should've kept.
Bonne chance!

I'd cruise it but id rather have the 383...body work? probably could get away with flanging it and welding in patches. fabrication is all.

C bodies are kind of their own thing. Parts support is not as good as A and B bodies. But you get a whole lot of car for the money. If you have the space for it, you can enjoy the classic American full-size experience. If I had the space for it, I wouldn't mind one.

Get it running and safe, and drive it like you stole it.
Because for 1500 bucks, you did!

Have you seen the underside?

Is there mold in one interior?

Watch out, if you buy it, you'll get a parts car to harvest what you need for the Fury, then get another parts car for the parts car, because that will be to nice to part out, and the cycle repeats itself. Ask me how I know.

I would have to put my 69 project on hold , but my valiant needs a lot more love and work than this titanic....ill see and talk with the owner again

I would buy that asap! We worked on one when I was working at the body shop, black built 440 that was so cool.

The only reason for passing on a good buy like that is if you don’t have a place to put it.

I’d wave 6 benjimins in front of his face and see if he bites. I’d also offer to shovel his driveway after I pulled it out.
