Not getting 12 volts to coil

I finally got 11.65 volts at my coil in 'run,' so I'm satisfied. Basically it was cleaning and dealing with another connector on the passenger valve cover. Plus, thank you for your cool diagnostic and unintended benefit of diagnosing my ignition switch from the wiring at the bottom of the steering column. I've got 50 year old wiring. I know someday it's bound to fail, but for now, I'm going to play, 'in the year of the' fish.
