Ports need work, not much to grind away
Am I got to run into turbulence with after market heads ?

Got the carbs from hemi71x, great deal, nice guy
Both same number 500 CFM off 1960, Poly 318

That's not the intake i would choose for a 600 hp small block. 400 hp maybe. Eyewash, not performance.
Absolutely nothing wrong with that, as long as your expectations are reasonable going in......
Imo, 600 is NOT reasonable .

You ought to look at some of the small block builds & big block builds for that matter, that don't have 600 hp with much better parts than you want to put on your engine.
Are you spraying to make 600 HP ???
Or No power adders ???

One would assume it’s being done N/A and carbs…..

There was no other statement to assume otherwise.

I do like the blown application idea! A nice centrifugal with a custom air box….. hummmmm

Id settle for 500vhp. Yes spraying on an all forged 360 to 408 stroker, already at 400 HP with cheap air gap and 750 Holley,
Start off with 50 nitrous plate under each carb, for 500 total plus pills/jets for an additional 100 HP of gas nearby. What type of cam would work on this dual quad setup ?
3.91 sure grip
26.5 tires
3500 street converter
Reverse manual valve body
DougsD 453 headers
3350 lbs with me in it 70 Dart

LMAO! I still like the pressurized idea!

A small cam for street driving would be what I’d do.

Are you going to be dragging this car or just wanted to kick some *** on the street?
I assume there's probably some great air in Florida. It should be a fun car for sure.
I can't speculate on a cam because I don't know lol .

I saw a sales brochure for procharger that showed a belt driven blower with ducting feeding both sides of a crossramed bbm. Really cool.

Edelbrock Magnum, yeah, I'm a magnum guy

Or LA, the block oil hole to feed the valve train is already drilled
Do you have a “Magnum” engine fully dressed?
Just wondering since the front accessory drive is a serpentine set up and bolting on a Torque storm - for example- normally feeds the FI from the front. That should make it an easy feed into a home made welded up box covering the twin carbs.

With this, you’ll make things a little more spendy by needing to up the game on fuel delivery due to the super chargers pressurizing.

Bonus, you can still add a dash of N02. Add a soft touch delivery system that will slowly add in the N02 as not to give it that insane hit.

Hummm, that sounds so good, I think I’m gonna have to try that out.

I’m waiting int for RustyRatRod to chime in with the most quintessential awesome answers ever —— .750 roller!

600hp?

Sure…….on a suitable long block………

And the proper amount of boost.

I know how I’d port that and it would start by removing the 4 hole aluminum base the carb sits on and opening the runners up.
Get what ya can get and send it!
