I removed the remnants of my original control arm bushings over the weekend. I want to install offset bushings as I've read that they can be helpful in picking up a little more + castor during alignment.
I've read many posts on this subject, but I just want to make sure I install them correctly. My bushings do not have arrow markings. My understanding is that in order to move the control arm slightly rearward I will need to install the bushings as I have drawn on the diagram.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Reverse them. You want to move the front of your arm out and the back in.

The way you have it oriented, the rear moves out, front in.

Exactly the opposite. The 'offset hole' in the bushing needs to be on the inside to push the control arm out (on the front). On the rera, the 'offset hole' needs to be out to pull the control arm in..

Thanks guys. I was focusing on the bushing portion and not the offset hole. I now understand the concept. I'm glad I posted before I pressed them in.

I just used a bench vise and a couple appropriately sized peices of pipe to push them in. Went in straight and relatively easy. Good luck with them.
