Offset shackles

Try to do the job without the front and rear offset hangers on an A Body. Max offset on the MP A Body shackle set is 1/2 " even though they call it a 3/4". Anything over 1/2" and the front hanger is up against the frame rail.

Yep just fitted my Dr Diff ones and you hard against the rails so dont see how could gain any additional width

mine was an older kit from who I don't know , advertised at 3/4'' , seller said they would not work on his a body , I had to hammer the frame rail carefully to get the front hangars to line up with the holes , the offset rears "were 3/4'' , I had already ordered a Dana 60 Detroit locker , and disc brakes , with the spring seats set in 3/4'' , the Dana 60 fell into the seat holes perfectly .
This is on a 68 fastback , slightly hammered the inner fender wells in the spots that are (humped) lack of a better description , did stretch the front of the fender wells to the inner fender panel , before painting , keeping the exact stock curve and shape , running 295 60 d15`s on 8 1/2'' rims , been that way for 12ish yrs. or more , no rubbing , works well .
Oh yeah , the inner fender panels are rolled some .

Yea you could maybe squish a little more with the Dr diff front hanger as the counter sunk bolt is proud and hits the rail but we splitting hairs.

Got my rubber within 5mm of the leaf with the moc diff thats shortened to work the wheel offset
I think the wheel sits pretty well and would not scrub although hard to tell as missing so much weight as pretty much bare shell
