Oil Filter fit help

Just wondering if anyone runs stock 68-70 340 Manifolds without using a 90 degree filter adapter.Thanks in advance!

i have read you can do it but you must use a shorty filter and pull the manifold back to remove or install it.

I run a shorty filter and a 69 340 manifold and I have to drop the headpipe to remove the oil filter. Kind of a pain but I don't have that 90 degree adapter. If your interested I have the motor out now and could post some pics for you.
