Oil filter for 340

I here some people say u don't need to use the angle bracket for the oil filter. How do u get away without the bracket.

You run the shorter filter. Cross reference a fram 43, but don't use a fram....

You will also need the oil filter plate, the gasket that goes against the block and the threaded stud with the shoulder in the middle, one end of the stud goes thru the plate,holding it to the block, the other end is where the filter threads on.

Wix makes several sizes. NAPA is also a good filter, (silver, gold etc) made by Wix.
