I am thinking of fitting a oil filter right angle bracket on my small block barracuda as it is difficult to remove the oil filter because of the exhaust being in the way ,anyone can give me some advise on it much appreciated.

Yes you should. I am surprised your engine doesn't have one on it allready. It must not be the original powerplant.

this chinese stuff works

whack on a ryco z9 i guess the nagle will need to go down between engine mount and exhaust

is it RHD? or LHD...

or use a take off instead and pipe it up to a remote filter head on the bulkhead somewhere.

i tend to go here, see whats available and buy it from wherever

you may well have a MOCAL agent in oz

If it’s the car in your avatar, I’m guessing it’s LHD. I 2nd the idea of running a remote filter head somewhere for ease of changing the filter

The bolt pictured here with this adapter fail. The problem is the 4 holes in the sides are drilled directly aside of each other making them very weak between the holes. Look at the bolt and see if this is the style. If so check to see if its stretched between the holes. They make them with 4 staggered holes or 2 oval holes on the later adapters due to this problem. I know yours is not the oval holes because they have a smaller hex head . So yours would be straight or staggered. If they are straight drill be cautious using it. Just an FYI

here is a replacement bolt with the upgraded staggered holes
