oil pan difference? 294-394

but what is the actual physical difference in the pans?
 
Not sure of the specifics but I am running a 394 on my 72 Duster. Not sure if the 294 has the square clearance bulge where the oil pump sits. You can kinda see it in this pic.

Early pans have holes in the front and rear lip for retaining the front and rear seals. Pretty certain those are gone starting in 1970 but someone should be able to confirm that.

The 394 I bought a few years ago also has the holes for the front and rear seals.
