Not exactly sure if this would be the section for this question but I was curious what were people's thoughts on oil pans? Are the aftermarket oil pans worth the money? Does it really make much of a difference? I'm sure it does for built up engines but my car is a daily driver 318 that I work on with my dad.
Thanks

Aftermarket pans are good for very fast cars that launch hard. The baffles in them are designed to keep oil on the pick up.

Do you hit the hammer that hard? Well, probably not with enuff force to uncover the pickup for a few seconds to run the engine dry of oil.

Instalation could also be a real pain and/or the pan to deep to run on the street. Company dependent, there pans also differ alot in depth and design. Like it said above, a stock pan will do fine.
