What do you guys think a fair price is to change an oil pump on a 318 with a stock pan? I will supply the pump.

Since it is stock and will remain that way, just a cruiser, I would assume I would not need a high flow pump. Just a stock pump?

I would do it for you if you bought a six pack for us to share when I got done.

Why do you think it needs an oil pump? Is the engine in the car?
If it's on a stand, I'd go for cheeseburgers and a six pac, but I'd bring the gaskets. If it's in the car, $200 plus materials give or take.

If the motor was out of the car I would do it on my own. I wish it was as I would love to do this but I do not want to get halfway through something like this and not be able to finish. Time is also an issue. 3 young kids in sports.

I beleive I have either a blocked screen or just need a new pump. When the engine is hot I have a flickering oil pressure light at idle. RPM at idle is right. I have not checked oil pressure on a guage yet. Just thinking I may have to do it so wanted some info.

Appreciate the help.
