I'm putting together a 360 for my car. It will be a mild build, KB 107's some bowl work to the heads and a roller cam (it's a 91 block). So my question is , do I use a Melling high volume pump or a high pressure pump. This is a street motor and I don't expect it to run past 5600 rpm. The other question is which pump drive do I need. The old drive isn't bronze.

Run a stock pump unless you've modified the oil system/galleys or have looooose clearances.

I run stock melling oil pump and rev 7000 rpm no problems and plenty of oil pressure 35-50psi idle/HOT --- 75psi cold/idle

stock pump... I get 60-65 psi cold on start up with 40wght oil...and i believe 20-30 idle warm

Stock pump with MP high pressure relief spring, or an HP pump. No need for HV.

For the billet rollers you need the bronze gear. I do not think you need to with the stock hydraulic roller cams. You cam manufacturer can tell you.
