I found this old porcelain Chinese license plate in a dump in Michigan. I wish I knew the story of how it got there.

One of my personal favorites, and a couple items of note regarding this tag. The 1941 Georgia is usually included whenever a poll is taken of "top 10" nicest tags. It is a navy blue, with reflectorized yellow, with a peach sticker in the middle. It was, I believe, the first reflectorized tag in the U.S.

The other pics are my son's birth year run, a tag from each state for the year 1988. He also has all of Canada and Australia for 1988.
I am working on my '52 birth year run, I am down to the more expensive ones that I lack. Don't know if I will ever get it done...

My favourite plates are the Michigan '76 plates ; and the ones I loathe are the '93 & newer Ca plates .

That '76 MI is nice, sure enough:cheers:
