one of around fifty ever produced ?

The "H" code just means it's a 340 and that's all. For it to have had a Six Pack on it, it would have had to be built after Feb. 14, 1970, which is when the T/A's and AAR's came out. Before that, there was NO 340 Six Pack. Also, this would have been a dealer installed intake/carb setup ala Mr. Norm's.

So yeah, the guy is smokin crack

probably

I'd ask him for the fender tag info to get the build date.

Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge or it didn't happen in an A-Body.........:toothy10:

Anytime I see things like "I think it was a rotisserie about 7 yrs ago" and "Its probably" I just figure that the person is full of crap.

and if it were a Mr. Norm's car it wouldn't be called a Six-Pac, it would be called a six barell or tri-power i believe and would have 3 chevy 2 barrell carbs with a finned chevy pie tin on top.

I`ve read an article about Mr. Norms Grand Spaulding Dodge installing 6 packs on some Darts and Demons in the early 70`s. Indisputable proof of a provenance like that would have to be furnished with the car otherwise it would just be another car.

Let me just say that if it turns out to be an "original" 340-6 pack swinger it'll be the first that I've ever seen. On the other side of the coin I'll bet that little bugger hauls ***.
