One week I would like to redo

I had a job to finish last weekend and Sun aft I felt faint so I laid down for abit,when I got up I didnt feel too bad.Well around 4pm it came back and I headed for home and the ended up at the hospital,about 6hrs later they sent me home saying I would get a call in 48hrs for an appointment.I figured things must not be that bad so I went and finished up the one job and while I was driving to the next one the symtoms came back.I drove myself to the hospital this time where I was informed I was having a stroke.I was then informed that if they had waited another 15 mins before seeing me it may be a different story right now.I have got my speech back,my left leg is coming and my left arm is the best.
I am truly greatful to be here right now as my mom says I had some angels looking out for me.
 
My Mom wasn't as fortunate as you were....Thank God you got there in time!

Be sure to take the thinners they're gonna give ya' (not paint thinner, Thank God again...)........I believe they put Mom on Plavix, and she had no further problems.......but the damage was already done......

Aspirin is a good blood thinner, but talk to your Doctor. Our prayers are with you!
 
I have 4 different pills to take now.I see my doc next Fri. and the specialist in two weeks.
 
I am almost a week in with no smoking now I have to work on the cholestorol part.Thanks for the kind words.

I think this time i will listen.They told me that this wasnt my first one by looking at the xrays.I have to take about a month off which is going to be really hard as I am a workaholic,also no driving for a month.

EVERYBODY LISTEN, When we get old, we go to crap. The best thing (my Doc told me) is an aspirin a day. Keeps the blood flowing.
