Only a couple of races left this year

Bracket race at Xtreme Tomorrow, Oct 29th, then Sunday at the same track there is a Texas Muscle Car Club Challenge (TMCCC) race. Temps will be in the mid 50's to lower 60's, should be some good air.
I've never done a TMCCC race before, it was recommended to me so I'll give it a try.
Last is Nov 5th at the Old Red Line track on I-30 East of Dallas. Renamed to I-30 Raceway, now renamed again to Poseidon Raceway Park. Hopefully this owner can keep things going.
There might be another race somewhere late November or early December if the weather holds out, otherwise that is it until mid/late Feb of 23.

Last weekend for those of us in the frozen tundra of the northeast. Both tracks here in Maine are closed for the year. Last weekend at New England Dragway this weekend but test and tune only. Going to head over there tomorrow to chase that 9 second time slip!

Thanks! It was cold and rainy. I got there at 9am and got a good trailer spot, but we didn't get to go down the track until 1:30pm. 1st round wasn't until 4:30pm and 2nd round was at 8:45pm, which I lost. The car got much faster than I thought it would and I broke out. TMCCC race is tomorrow, looking forward to some good rounds in that one.

They canceled our night. At 11:18 when someone oiled the track. They couldn’t even get the alcohol used to clean in up to dry. That wreck messed us up for hours.

Man I hate those! They had us in the lanes for round 2 when it started misting again. They had to dry the track and we had to scramble to get to our trailers for towels to wipe down the cars.
As it was getting colder I dialed down 3 numbers but it wasn't enough, so in the trailer I went! I left after that since I have to be there early Sunday for a race. I don't know how long it went on or if they even finished.

Had a good time at the TMCCC race Sunday at Xtreme Raceway Park. Lots of great cars and trucks and some really nice people to race with.
My car was running it's number, but I was put in the trailer by a guy who put a .0000 light on me! That's hard to beat!
Was thinking about going to Poseidon (I-30) next weekend but the forecast is calling for rain Friday and Saturday.

I ran last weekend at Atco's Halloween Bash and am going to take the 2 1/2 hour trip south to Cecil County Dragway in Maryland for their Final SSCS (index ) race of the year this weekend to end my season.. so far the weather looks good
