What goes good with Iron City you say?

We used to cut the tops and bottoms off the cans, flatten them out and mount on a piece of wood. The only problem was the hazmat scene it produced by dumping that swill out!

Speaking of Iron City I’m not a beer drinker and never had an Iron City. But they took over a closed PPG (Pittsburgh Glass company) around 10 miles from my house and really did a great job on the building. These pictures don’t do it justice. And I was invited to a car show there later in the year today.

The guy that owns Iron City also owns Rosebud Mining. They have a bunch of mines in Armstrong and Indiana counties. They put out a can honoring steelworkers and coal miners. Everyone at my mill got a case of beer.

I was in a tiny Pittsburgh bar one Sunday night after I backed my truck into a dock in downtown . Must have been 1972.

Walked over to the joint and ordered a Miller...Ha!! No Miller. Only sold Iron City and other local beer.

Still got drunk...

Nothing goes good with Iron City, except maybe an FDA and EPA ban
