The time has come for me to sell my open car trailer. Since moving to Florida, I find I just don't use it and I'm not willing to let it sit outside to get beat on by the sun.
It is a very well made flatbed car hauler trailer with self-storing ramps. It has a pair of 3500# Dexter spring axles with electric brakes on both axles. New brake hub and drum assemblies have roughly 2000 miles since installed as well as the new rims and radial tires. The Load Range D radial tires (2150# capacity each) are speed-rated for 81 mph. The ramps slide out into loading position and store internally in the rear by sliding them back in. No need for picking up heavy ramps – they simply slide out into place and then slide back in for storage/transport. The frame is made from HD 5” rectangular tubing (not C-channel!) so this trailer can take a load. It has a standard 7-pin electrical connector and uses a 2” ball. The trailer has a manual winch installed and a small lockable wooden toolbox in the front as shown. It has a breakaway trailer brake switch. The trailer comes with a stone shield (2nd last picture) that, if desired, mounts into the trailer stake pockets to protect the front of a car during transport. All brakes and lighting work as designed. It tows very well and has always been stored indoors. I'm looking to get $3175 for it. Any interest out there?
Here it was hauling the avatar (before it had stripes!):
