I believe so, the insulation is attached to a backing board and the board attached to the car with adhesive, not the other way around like the firewall (with pins).Interesting. I removed the passenger side and there's a backing board but not fiberglass.

Mine is missing the fiberglass but there is glue residue on that side.
The yellow wire for the door switch is a little different than in Alan's car probably because his is a fastback and mine's a notch with just a dome light.
