Original 1970 Duster Dart 340 bell housing, part number 2892482, early 2 - 70 dated, $100

I just cleaned/degreased and inspected the bell housing. It will need some repairs. There is a small crack about 1 1/2" long, there are 2 pictures of this area, it's in an open area and is easy to get to. You can see what caused this by the small mark on the outside surface in the blue paint area.

There is one repaired threads with a helicoil. One of the starter bolt hoes has some threads partially missing, that hole should probably get a helicoil.

I have no problem. I simply decided it wasn't worth the shipping, the drive to the location it was going to be shipped to, the work required to "fix" it.

I'll say that the seller was very helpful and tried very hard to make the shipping more palatable but at the end of the day, I decided against it. If it was a part I "needed" it would have gone a different way. Like I said, he tried to work with me but in the end, it wasn't worth it to me.

EDIT: Further, he never mentions any desire to ship, that was my request which again, he tried to make work and I appreciated it. I have no quarrel, but was surprised by the mention of it.
