Outdoor led rope lights

I bought thease lights for my gazebo, but they are too bright, I tried Amazon help they wear no help.my question is can I hook up a dimmer switch? Also will the dimmer switch work with my timer.thanks very much.

Unless the LED's are specifically designed to be dimmable, no. THey can't be dimmed. In simple terms, they operate on x amount of current. Anything less and they just shut off.

I had those same ones in a yellow color
I had mine mounted to the bottom of the steps to show a path

They weren't too bright, so maybe it's a color issue

If the packaging has a circle with a diminishing arc in it, they are dimmable.
