I found a B&M shifter that I wanted to use. It looks a little like a 4 speed, but it is for autos. I also figured that I could adapt it to fit the auto floor console in my 66 Barracuda. The problem is the kit comes with a 5 Ft. long cable. This is fine if you have one of those "other" cars. Mopars need a 6 Ft. cable. I really didn't want to have to buy another cable and be stuck with one I couldn't use. I figured I would invest a phone. All they could do was say no. When I talked to the customer service rep at B&M, he said they would jusy switch out the cable. I sent the 5 FT. cable to them (about $5.50 shipping) and they sent the needed one.
You just don't see this kind of service these days.
