OVER-SPRAY REMOVAL ON TAIL LIGHT LENSES

-
I've used Turtle Wax chrome polish with good success. It works good on the plastic headlight covers to get rid of that haze too.

OUCH! I'm not sure but the bezel around the lens should come off and then try to clean off the paint and if you're lucky and they didn't sand before they painted it the paint might peel off and then try to buff it out and you could try using a fine sandpaper then buff it out.
Thanks...That is just the rubber gasket around the lens.......Perhaps I'll try a pressure washer? We can't get paint to stick on trim when we want it to LOL.
That blue paint is what you want to remove?
Correct.....And I think the silver is paint as well. IIRC, it is black everywhere the light doesn't shine through.

Hi Troy
Why do you bother about the area painted in blue? It's hidden when the lenses are installed onto the car rear panel. Just paint them gloss black including the lens edges...
