Is the overfill limiting valve in the vent line necessary?
Planning the fuel system for the Scamp and considering the original vent system which went to the charcoal canister. This line according to the factory service manual has an overfill limiting valve in the engine bay on the rise before the charcoal canister. I have searched for this part and have not been able to find anything. So .......
Do we need this part? Does it serve any other purpose other than when fuel is being added to the tank?
