Overhead Console in Duster

has anyone ever installed a cuda overhead console in a duster or dart sport.
i'm attempting it.
wondering any obstacles?

The console will be the obstacle. The A bodies are smaller than the E’s and I’m tall and can’t imagine a console hanging down blocking my view and making me feel cramped. Maybe mock one up out of cardboard or something and tape it up there before you commit?

What a cool idea... most modern cars have something up there. No reason an older car can't. Never even crossed my mind

i have 1 from a challenger. don't believe there's a difference from cuda.
just think it would look cool.
don't care if it even works.
i installed a rimblow steering wheel.
and a pistol grip shifter from 71 b body.

SOme of them, the stock ones you could retro fit in, seem like more work than it's worth. But they make some aftermnarket ones that may be promising.

its a 76 NO headliner bows.

I'm just curious.. what are you putting in it? Gauges? Some kind of temp/compass thing? Or just storage of some sort?

just the regular 70 cuda w/low fuel,seat belts, door ajar. more for looks then anything.
i will try with a wiring harness.
its a dartlite /6 4 speed od,so looking for cool effect!
looking for max mpg's also.
