Oxygenated fuel???

Wondering if anyone is or has used oxygenated fuel and the positive and negatives.My engine is strictly drag race and is 12.1 compression.Have been useing VP C12,and thinking of changeing to the VP 113 oxygenated fuel.looking for a few more 100ths.Any thoughts or experiences will be appreciated.Guzzi Mark
 
Do you mean fuel which carries it's own oxygen molecules, that are released when the fuel burns?
Nitromethane is the most common fuel of this type. Although it will emusify with methanol, it wont with petrol.
However, if you google "nitropropane", you should find a few articles about it. Unlike nitromethane, nitropropane will mix with petrol. Although due to it's higher O2 content, the jetting baseline has to be fattened up or else the fire will run lean and lunch your pistons.
